About us

The International Business Club at Copenhagen Business School promotes knowledge sharing on relevant topics within international business management. Founded in 1975 as the Foreign Trade Club (In Danish: Udenrigshandelsklubben) by a group of visionary business people with a business economics degree from Copenhagen Business School to maintain the connection to a business-oriented community and keep up-to-date on relevant topics. Today, the network remains the oldest alumni association for people educated at CBS, which has hosted networking events for the benefit of its members for almost 50 years.

The new Board wants to create an attractive environment for our networking events, where the members gain energy and expand their network with relevant people. The new Board wants to attract young and experienced businesspeople who wish to be part of a community where they get new knowledge about relevant topics.

Our new Board has decided to give free access to selected events because we want to allow our members to expand their network with relevant people in the Danish business community.

As something new in 2023, we offer free membership for 30 days for anyone who wants to become part of the oldest alumni business association at CBS. The purpose is to scale up the activities and interactions in our network to benefit the members.

Our 2023 membership satisfaction survey shows 98% of our active members recommend us.
